Long John is among the professionals who hit the ball long off-the-tee. Moreover, the American professional event manages to strike the golf ball purely at this age. Apart from playing golf, the PGA Tour veteran, a familiar name on the PGA Tour of Champions, takes a keen interest in music. Daly enjoys singing, and not to forget, he has released two albums. Moreover, the 55-year-old released his new album ” Whiskey and Water” earlier in March. He sang the album along with his good friend and a famous singer Willie Nelson. This is enough evidence of long John’s love for music and singing.

Furthermore, the 1995 British Open winner recently spoke about why he is compelled to become a full-time singer or musician in a short clip. Daly’s fans from all over the globe will love his explanation for the same.

PGA Tour of Champions uploaded a video in which Daly spoke about his love for music and much more. The video broke out through their Instagram page yesterday. Moreover, in the short clip, Daly is seen playing a round of golf with the famous American singer and songwriter Cole Swindell. Daly said, “Only have to work like two or three nights a week. In golf, we got to stay the whole week.”, in response to his own question about why he would like to be a musician.

To which the Swindell replies, “Oh, I know. And when y’all hit if you hit a bad shot, it’s, you’re gonna see me I might miss a note here and there but everybody’s just having a good time. Moreover, John’s words prove the amount of love he has for music and how much he enjoys singing. At the same time, it also shows how tough or hectic is it for professionals to play the events every week.

Daly’s first-round summary at the ClubCorp Classic

John made a solid start to his 2022 ClubCorp Classic campaign. The 55-year-old professional, who still awaits his induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame, shot an opening round of one-over-par, 72. Moreover, Daly is currently at an overall score of one-over-par, heading to the second round on Saturday. His first round of 72 included one birdie and two bogeys on the opening nine holes of his round. As a result, he moved out in one-over-par, 37. Furthermore, he made three birdies, one bogey, and a single, double bogey on the back nine to end his opening round.
