John Daly Once Uploaded a Picture of His Order With a Surprising Caption: ‘Don’t Drink and Order Taco Bell’

John Daly is an incredible golfer and is one of the best long-hitters of all time. However, the golfer is more famous for his free-spirited lifestyle, often surprising his fans with his diet preferences. The incident happened when Daly went to Trump National Doral in Miami to attend the Trump Touring Pro weekend in December 2021. And the golfer chose to teach his Instagram followers a lesson that he learned the hard way from the trip. 

“DON’T DRINK AND ORDER TACO BELLS ON UBER EATS.” The golfer shared an Instagram story with the message as a caption and a photo of his Uber Eats receipt.

According to the photo, Daly ordered $446.10 worth of food from Taco Bell. His orders included 5 Grilled Cheese Burritos, 10 Crunchy Taco Supreme, 10 Spicy Double Steak Grilled Cheese Burritos, and 1 Beef Burrito. Notably, the golfer didn’t forget to add 20 free Mild Sauce Packets with the order. 

John Daly did more than ordering on Uber Eats at the Trump Touring Pro weekend

The Trump Touring Pro Weekend is an annual event conducted by the Trump National Doral, Miami, for its golf members. In the event, the golf club members get to play with the invited PGA Tour players, and Daly is one of the regular players to attend the event. 

In the event, John Daly, always the crowd-pleaser, holed a ball by chipping with just one hand. True to his style, the golfer held a drink in his other hand and chipped the ball without an effort barefoot. 

The PGA Memes page on Instagram shared the video of the event, which would leave any golf lover in awe. Notably, the audience at the Pro-Am was also awe-struck after Daly’s one-handed chip shot found the hole. 

Daly almost got fined once for being a people pleaser

Daly and fellow golfer Mark Calcavecchia got fined for playing fast in the 1992 Players Championship. “We wanted to show the fans a good time, and I think they enjoyed it,” the 1991 PGA Championship winner said about the event. 

The Tour officials fined the two golfers for finishing the final round in 2 hours and 3 minutes. However, Calcavecchia later revealed they didn’t have to pay for the fine after they sent a letter to them.
