Now, for those of you who don’t know, John Daly’s love for Hooters is absolutely insane; more than what you’ll ever imagine. So much so that he has a lucrative endorsement with the franchise!

But this is what makes him popular with the crowd, right? Ever since Hooters and Daly joined hands in 2005, he hasn’t snagged a single title on the PGA Tour. And the only reason he remains a favorite of the fans is due to his antics and entertaining stunts that he pulls every once in a while.
Moreover, the public associates better with his honesty and relatable lifestyle, rather than being a model of truth. ESPN once asked him the reason for his fan appeal, despite his dwindling level on the tour. He explained, “I’ve been honest with a lot of the problems I’ve had in life. Everybody has problems. They can relate to that.”
