John Daly is probably more famous off-the-course rather than on-the-course. However, the 55-ear-old professional is known for driving the ball long off-the-tee and is even a two-time major championship winner. Moreover, recently the American PGA Tour veteran had a perfect reply when asked how many times he loses to his son. It is truly an epic one.

In a video uploaded by PGA Tour of Champions back in 2021, in which Jake Owens asked, “If you and Little John play 10 times in a row, how many times does he beat you, like straight up?”. To which Long John gave a truly incredible reply.

Daly replied, “Oh, if I get fired up, he ain’t beating me”. Meaning that if John gets fired up, his son doesn’t have a chance against him. Moreover, in the same video, Daly even admits that his son definitely hits it longer than him. He said, “Little John flys it 20 yards past me. His 6 iron is my 3 hybrid. He can hit a blade 2 iron 272 on the fly.”
This proves that little John is following in his father’s footsteps and also hits it long off-the-tee. Who knows, maybe one day we see John Daly II compete on the Tour and hit bombs off-the-tee.
