John Daly is an American Professional Golfer and has tons of fans in the golf community. Unlike other golfers, Daly is loved for more than just his skills on the course. One of the biggest reasons for admiring him is his non-country club look and unique attitude.
Daly is one of the few brutally honest people in golf. He has been a victim of alcohol addiction in the past and is continuously trying hard to get out of the habit. However, it is not as easy as it sounds.

John Daly shakes and cries during his round
Daly was playing in the event on a Thursday and suddenly started shaking at the 15th hole. The man looked devastated and raddled. He crossed his arms over his chest and silently started walking on the green. The player suddenly had tears in his eyes and started panting heavily.
Daly was playing in a threesome with David Frost and Corey Pavin. The two didn’t leave Daly alone during the hard time he was having during the play. Frost and Pavin tried to comfort Daly, and the golfer put on a second jacket even when the temperature was in the mid-80s.

Pavin was an old accomplice of Daly and knew about his alcohol problem and how hard he was trying to get rid of it. “He gets the shakes every once in a while and he did [today],” Pavin said. He added, “I know he’s working really hard and trying to stay off the alcohol and he’s doing a great job.”
Daly also told the two about his problem while he started to tremble on the field. “He just said ‘I’ve got the shakes,” Frost stated. He added, “I think we did what anybody else would have done if it were them playing with him. It’s a tough thing that he’s going through.”

The reporters tried to take a statement from Daly about the incident too. But the golfer refused to say anything about it. Daly parred the 15th hole, hit a birdie at the 16th one, and wrapped up the game with a 3-par-over 74.
