The two-time major winner John Daly is a man full of surprises. While he is popular for his free-spirited lifestyle, his love for music is not a secret either. His passion for music is so much that he has kept a room just for his guitar collection!

“So these are the guitars and memorabilia that you have collected?” Graham Bensinger was in awe when he first saw Daly’s guitar collection room for the first time as a part of a segment for his show ‘In Depth with Graham Bensinger.’

That’s definitely one of them,” Daly pointed towards his Lucille guitar from B.B. King when Bensinger asked for his favorite ones in the collection. “Kid Rock. He had this made for me,” added the golfer as he showed a light blue guitar. 

Daly explained that people gifted all of the guitars in his collection. “I’ve got this Stevie Ray Vaughn guitar,” Daly added as he gave a tour of the room. The golfer has a huge collection of guitars in that room from many music legends, including Prince and Eddie Van Halen.

“Anywhere from Vince Gill to Willie Nelson, Tom T. Hall, all over there.” Daly became a proper tour guide to Bensinger in his guitar collection room. 

Known as the Elvis of golf, Daly is a music enthusiast as much as he is a golfer. When he is not swinging his club, the golfer is seen making new tunes on his guitar. So, it was not a surprise to see that many people have gifted guitars to him.

Despite having a successful career as a golfer, John Daly has never left his passion for music behind. He has won over 15 tournaments worldwide, including the PGA and Open Championships.

Daly has recently released his third album, ‘Whiskey and Water,’ which featured Willie Nelson. He had released his first album in 2002 named ‘My Life,’ and the second one ‘I Only KnowOne Way’ in 2010.
