While the PGA Tour wrapped up the Masters this weekend, the PGA TOUR Champions are gearing up for the ClubCorp Classic. Held in Texas, the event will provide for an interesting few days for the viewer. This year, veteran John Daly is one of the many players who have confirmed his participation.
The tournament will feature professionals and celebrities, all teeing up in Texas for the Champions Tour event.

Daly, who is currently active on the senior tour, recently confirmed his participation in the tournament. Considering the amazing charm Daly brings to the course, fans are most excited to see him in action.
John Daly excited for ClubCorp Classic
According to Daly’s Instagram story, he is a confirmed competitor at the ClubCorp Classic.
Interestingly, this will be the inaugural year for the event. Of course, the 55-year-old was beyond excited to play, aware of the hype created with all the celebrities lined up. Additionally, this will be an opportunity for Daly fans to watch him at the Las Colinas Country Club in Texas.
Daly even added some information about the event in his story, making sure people are just as excited as he is.

The ClubCorp Classic, as per their site, is a “full-field” PGA TOUR Champions event. Some of the world’s best senior players are on the field, along with some really amazing celebrities from various fields. Furthermore, only a few players who qualify make it to the tournament.
Marcus Allen, Ray Allen, Tony Romo, and Adam Thielen are a few of the celebrities confirmed to play.
The tournament will feature an impressive purse of $2 million, whereas the celebrity prize purse will be $500,000. The broadcast will be on Golf Channel, the proceeds going to the Momentous Institute.
Hopefully, this event will end up as one of the most iconic events on the PGA Tour.
When did Daly last win on the Champions Tour?
Daly, on his end, last played the Rapiscan Systems Classic, finishing T42. One of his best performances recently was the PNC Championship with his son, where he beat Tiger Woods to finish first. However, Daly’s last win at the PGA TOUR Champions was the 2017 Insperity Invitational.
The highlight of his career, of course, was his first major win in 1991 (PGA Championship).
That being said, fans will never stop hoping for another win for Daly.
