It is decided! John Daly will play at the 2022 PNC Championship in December with his son, John Daly II. The father-son pair had won the tournament last year by defeating Tiger Woods and his son with their impressive golfing.

The collegiate-level golfer, Daly jr., had impressed everyone with his incredible golfing last year. He and his father scored an overall 27-under in the 36-hole tournament in 2021, two points more than Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie Woods. Notably, Daly and his son won the event first-time last year on their sixth attempt.

The PNC Championship is an unofficial father-son PGA Tour Champions event conducted every year in December. According to the official site, the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes, will host the event this year.

The competition is only open to the winners of the four majors and PLAYERS Championship winners and their family members. Notably, the last year’s tournament included a field that won 67 major titles. Like last year, many former major and PLAYERS champions and their sons/fathers will attend the auspicious event this year.

His excitement was evident when he said, “even though we are taking it seriously, it’s really going to be a lot of fun to have him out there.”

The LPGA veteran Annika Sorenstam will also take part in the event with her 11-year-old son. Notably, she attended with her father last year. Moreover, the 82-year-old, Lee Trevino, the only player to play in every PNC Championship ever conducted, will also play with his son Daniel this year.
