Winning major championships as well as various other professional events is the dream of every golfer. Every professional would love to achieve these feats. However, when one moves to the latter part of their career as a golfer, one would love to become a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Nevertheless, not every professional is able to achieve this feat, and John Daly is one of them.

John Daly has been famous both on and off the course. The 55-year-old professional is famous for his long drives off-the-tee. However, there is one feat or feather that Dalt would like to attach to his cap.

Daly on how he wants to change the thing he has not won

John Daly is one such famous name who has not been yet inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. Back in 2020, he spoke about how he wanted to change the criteria for getting into the Golf Hall of Fame.

Daly spoke about how he wants to change the criteria regarding an entry into the Golf Hall of Fame. Daly spoke about in Golf’s Subpar.

He said, “I think the Hall of Fame should be fans voting in, or the people who are behind it. I know I’ve done some pretty stupid things, but the way I look at it, I look at all these greats who are in the hall of fame because they moved the needle in the game of golf.”

He also admits that his impact on the game has not always been positive. He added, “I don’t think it’s something I can really say. It’s out of my hands. I feel like I’ve done a lot for the game but I’ve also done a lot that wasn’t good for the game—attitude sometimes.”

Daly as well as his son, John Patrick Daly II were a part of the 2021 PNC Championship. The duo played some exceptional golf throughout the two rounds. As a result, won the event with an overall score of 27-under-par. Moreover, won the event with a two-stroke lead.
