When the tournament has notable changes for the players, it is expected to be a success. Well, the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro was already a success, but this year there is a list of new additions. For the fact, the purse has been doubled to $3,750,000, making it the biggest purse after the majors. Notably, the full field event, having 144 golfers, will feature the top names, including Nelly Korda (making a comeback after 2023), Hannah Green (JM Eagle LA Championship winner, past two edition winner), Jeeno Thitikul, Lexi Thompson, Minjee Lee, and many others.

However, apart from all the positive changes, the tournament will tee off at a new venue, which would be an additional challenge for the golfers. The ongoing restoration at Wilshire Country Club led to the selection of El Caballero Country Club as a replacement. With the course change, the golfer will have to adapt to the new course challenges and especially the weather conditions, which aren’t going to be easy, competing against the top golfers. But with the weather reports, it gets easier to plan the day and mentally prepare for the adverse conditions. So let’s check how the weather will treat the golfer at the new venue.

JM Eagle LA Championship first two rounds weather report

Teeing off on 17th April, this is going to be a crucial event before stepping into the major’s week. Well, for the preparation, the JM Eagle LA Championship is also not making the pathway easier for the players. On the first day, with 92% cloud cover, the visibility and temperature will drop significantly, making it tough for the golfer to keep the body warm. The temperature will range between 51.8 and 64.4 degrees F. Along with that, it brings a 25% chance of precipitation, and the high winds of 8 mph with a gust of 20 mph will make the round tougher.

Even on the second day, nothing much is going to change apart from the cloud cover, which will come down from 92 to 60%. Even the wind and gust that saw an upside on the first day will be less with 8 mph wind and 16 mph wind gusts. Besides, the precipitation chances and the temperature will stay the same.

Even wind will be in control, flowing at 4mph towards South, and wind gusts at 16.1 mph.

For the golfers, after battling the first two days, things will fall into place.
