Jin Young Ko is a winner once again. The young professional picked up from where she left back in 2021. Ko won in her first appearance in the 2022 LPGA Tour season. However, she broke probably one of the most incredible records in the history of the sport with her latest win.

Jin Young Ko achieves an incredible feat with her win
Jin won the 2022 HSBC Women’s World Golf Championship at Sentosa Golf Club. As a result, marked her sixth victory in the last 10 starts. Not to forget, Ko won the 2021 CME Group Tour Championship and also won the Player of the year award last year.
However, what made her 13th LPGA Tour title even sweeter is the record she broke at the end.

After carding a final round of 66 at the 2022 HSBC Women’s World Golf Championship, Ko broke one of her own records. Which she earlier shared with Annika Sorenstam and So Yeon Ryu. With her final round of 66, Jin recorded her 15th consecutive round in the ’60s. What an amazing feeling it must be for the youngster to break one of her own records.
However, one of her other records also came to an end at the 2022 HSBC Women’s World Golf Championship. She hit the third green during the first round of the event. As a result, the hitting count for consecutive green hit reached 66. But after she missed the fourth green, ended the streak. Jins’ record of 66 is the target to beat both on the LPGA Tour as well as on the PGA Tour.

Young’s final round of 66
Jin carded a final round of 66, six-under-par. As a result, won the event with an overall score of 17-under-par. Ko won the event with a two-stroke lead. Her final round of 66 included two birdies on the front nine. As a result, moved out in two-under-par, 34. She made five birdies and one bogey on the back nine as well.
