Golf is often regarded as one of the most stressful sports, but people often overlook the physical aspect of the sport. Golf is just as physically exhausting as it is mentally exhausting. Golfers usually face a lot of injuries in their legs, backs, and elbows, and some of the injuries are so severe that they often force the golfer to go on a hiatus.

One prominent golfer who has been on a long hiatus this year is Tiger Woods, but there are a few other golfers as well who have been out of the course this year because of their injuries. One golfer is probably all set to make a return on the Tour despite a hard year, and it brings delightful hope for the golf fraternity.

Woods has been on the ropes since the 2023 Masters. He made the cut but had to withdraw from the tournament because of ankle pain. He then went ahead and had surgery to help him with the pain, and since then, he has been missing the tournaments. The 82-time PGAT champ’s fans are longing to see him back in action.

Another golfer who has been quite out of action this year is Jhonattan Vegas. He last competed in the Valspar Championship earlier this year, in March. He missed the cut at Copperhead Course and then eventually announced in April that he was taking an indefinite break because he reinjured his troubling elbow.

Vegas is looking all better now that a video of him hitting some shots has surfaced on the internet. Golf Injury Report, a Twitter page, posted a video of the two-time Olympian wherein it was mentioned that he is missing the Fortinet Championship next week but is “not far away from his PGA Tour return.”

It seems that fans will get to see other pros return to the Tour before they get to witness Woods back in action. Fans would love to see Tiger Woods take some tips from Vegas, as he has made a quicker return at this age as compared to the 15-time major champion.

Will Zalatoris, an adored PGA Tour pro, is also working his tail off to make a return very soon on the Tour. After injuring his back last year in the BMW Championship, the golfer has been mostly off the course. Although he did return this year in the beginning for a brief period, he again had to sit out as his back issues started persisting again.

The golfer then underwent back surgery and is now soon to make a return to the course after what seems like a very long hiatus and rehabilitation period. Zalatoris is eagerly looking forward to his big return on the course.
