Brooks Koepka's family moments—more important than his LIV Golf struggles? What's your take?

Like father, like son! The phrase exists for a reason. And in this case, Brooks Koepka and his son, Crews Koepka, have proved it to be true. Why is that, you ask? Well, the 1-year-old was spotted alongside his dad, sharing a unique memory with the LIV Golf Pro. For context, this is the same professional who will tee off for his league’s Individual Championship this week!

Jena Sims, Koepka’s wife, shared a story of the same on her Instagram. She reposted a video that her friend, Lindy Aguirre, uploaded on her social media handle. The young one seemed well settled in the athlete’s arms as he, along with his dad and friends, was spotted watching the recent NFL match between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins. “Just one of the boys,” wrote Sims’ friend as she shared the Instagram story.

Crew was seemingly enjoying what was on the big screen while sporting his usual white helmet for Torticollis. That’s not all. The golfer’s child was relaxing while sipping his milk from the bottle and watching the Dolphins defeat the Jaguars, 20-17. Cute? Yes, very much so, especially when you see the child watching so eagerly! It seems the young one has inherited the golfer’s love for the NFL as well.

The video shared shows Brooks Koepka having some fun times with his friends ahead of the upcoming LIV Golf Individual Championship in Chicago. The golfer is currently placed 7th on the season-long leaderboard with 126.73 points. Although he might not be able to surpass the likes of Joaquin Niemann or Jon Rahm, the 34-year-old would surely be looking forward to clinching a win at the upcoming event at Bolingbrook Golf Club.

His team, on the other hand, is placed T4 on the season-long standings. They have secured two victories this season—one at Las Vegas and the other at the recent Greenbrier event. This, along with a runner-up position and two T3 finishes, has allowed the team to garner 131.50 points while hoping to win the team championship title by the end of the season. Koepka would surely be hoping for that!

Brooks Koepka’s 2024 run in LIV Golf so far

The American LIV Golf Pro has a total of five wins in the Saudi-backed league. Two of them came this season at the Singapore event and the recent tournament at Greenbrier, where he tied with Jon Rahm after carding a 19-under 191. A playoff soon after helped him clinch his fifth LIV Golf title, where he defeated the Spaniard with the club.

Aside from the two victories, the athlete has three other top-10 finishes, including two T9s and a T5 placement, the latter of which came at the season’s first tournament in Mayakoba. Regardless, will he be able to replicate his victories to clinch a sixth win? Or will he fail to claim the title for himself? His fans will surely be eagerly waiting!
