Just weeks ago, Jena Sims wanted to shower NICU nurses with gifts the day she and Brooks Koepka left the hospital with Crew, their baby boy. It had been a tough few days for the Koepka couple. The 34-year-old model gave birth on July 27, six weeks ahead of the due date. Since she gave birth prematurely, baby Crew was put on oxygen and had to be admitted to the NICU at the Jupiter Medical Center.

While leaving the hospital for the first time, the new mother posted a message sympathizing with all parents who had to leave the hospital without their baby. Days later, when she finally headed home with her baby boy, she wanted nothing more than to reward the staff for their help. And now, while her hubby proves his worth on the course at LIV’s penultimate event, she has finally got a chance to fulfill her promise!

Earlier, she asked her fans for gift ideas. Eventually, Sims asked her agency for a more organized plan. Her agency, 456, reached the brands they worked with, and they have sent gifts aplenty. On her Instagram story, she shared clips of the gifts for the nurses. Wearing a T-shirt with ‘CREW’ printed across, she gave shoutouts to all the brands that donated to the cause. From bags and clothes to jewelry and skincare, different brands expressed their love in different forms.

Moreover, gifts from a few healthcare brands meant the food and beverage section was also covered. “These are the kind of stuff they are gonna snack on during those long shifts,” Sims says in the video, holding a blueberry, muffin, and banana bread mix.

In her last story, along with her two friends and her sister Hannah, Sims is seen entering the NICU at Jupiter Meds. Posting a photo of the caregivers, Sims captioned, “My heroes.”

The hospital staff wanted Sims to bring the baby boy. So, Crew has also accompanied her mother to the hospital. “He’s doubled in weight since leaving NICU,” captioned Sims to a picture of the baby boy with nurses and his mother.

Brooks Koepka battles for his title defense

Koepka is currently teeing up at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club. This is the very same ground where he claimed his maiden LIV victory last year.

The defending champion currently finds himself in fifth place, with Marc Leishman claiming the top spot so far. A win here is a must for Koepka’s Smash GC, as the victory will push them up to a secure spot at the season-ending event in Miami.

The 5-time major winner earlier claimed that he didn’t care for the points or individual ranking since they did not help when it came to the big events in golf—the majors! However, the sweet $4 million reward and the additional bonus for his high standings on LIV’s overall leaderboard are bound to sweeten the deal for him!
