Remember the chaos at this year’s Presidents Cup? While Team USA took home the win, the real drama came from the heated fallout between two best friends: Tom Kim and Scottie Scheffler. The spat made quite a stir, and while the two patched things up pretty quickly, fans kept the heat alive for a while. But fast forward to now—things seem to be shifting for Kim, all thanks to his partnership with Jeeno Thitikul at the Grant Thornton Invitational.
Known for his intense competitive edge, Kim surprised everyone by showing off a much lighter, funnier side of himself. During their post-round interview, Jeeno couldn’t help but poke fun at Kim’s habit of changing his phone number constantly, joking she had to go through his manager to reach him. Kim, always ready with a comeback, joked about Jeeno’s amazing bunker shot on the 16th. “It was like, I’ve had enough,” he said, joking about how she carried the team all day.

But the fun times didn’t stop there. When the interviewer pointed out that Thitikul’s caddie refers to her as “Jeeno Woods” because her game is so good, Thitikul dismissed it by saying, “They’re just overreacting things.” But Kim upped the ante, debating whether she was more like Woods or Scheffler.
“We were deciding Jeeno Scheffler or Jeeno Woods, and we decided, you know, obviously with 82 wins and 14 majors, she played like how you would put up,” Kim quipped.
Now, fans are definitely noticing this side of Kim, and it’s shifting the narrative. But what exactly are they saying about it?
