Jack Nicklaus Reveals His Celebrity Crush and More Interesting Details in a Rapid Fire Round

Jack Nicklaus is a golf legend with a great personality. And when he was interviewed by Gary Williams, the host of 5 Clubs Podcast, the world could see all the fun sides of Nicklaus, which other golfers boast about. 

The soon-to-be 81-year-old has no worries at all. When he was asked certain questions throughout the podcast, Jack was nothing but welcoming to all of them. 

Although many from the golf world boast about his mannerism on the field and his great personality, we never had the opportunity to know the truth behind it. All thanks to the 5 Club podcast, know we know how friendly and cool he is in real life.

The host played a game called “5 Quick Questions” with Jack, and it’s a must-watch segment from the entire podcast.

When Williams asked about his favorite ice cream flavor, the inner child in the 80-year-old woke up. He was fast to answer, “Probably, Butter Pecan.” 

While the first question woke the inner-child in Nicklaus, the second question made him a real grown-up man! Williams asked what is Jack’s favorite sport except for golf, and he answered, “uh… Wimbledon.”

Nicklaus further explained that he used to love watching the Ohio State – Michigan game until this year. The answer is funny and mostly true for all the fans of the Michigan State Spartans. The Spartans lost to Ohio State Buckeyes at the finals for a score of 7 to 56. 

Before he gets angrier at the Spartans, the host asked Nicklaus the next question, which seemingly cooled off the golf legend. The host asked, “Did you have a celebrity crush growing up?” 

Although the question was surprising for Nicklaus, he didn’t leave his cool and answered them honestly. He explained that he finds the actresses from the old classic movies, like Janet Leigh and Natalie Wood, beautiful. He said, “Wow! They’re pretty girls!”

As expected, the answer received a chuckle from the host.

A historical person, alive or dead, with whom Nicklaus would have dinner with…

“I would think, maybe, Churchill,” Jack replied.

He answered his fourth question where the host asked out of all the historic persons, whom Jack would like to have dinner with. He further added, “I think what an amazing, amazing man he was.”

The last question from the host was rather funny. He asked, “What was your favorite cuss word or phrase on the golf course?”

Although Nicklaus tried to dodge the question at first, he answered it finally, “underneath my voice, I might add few other things, but ‘Oh, Jack!’ is the loudest thing that would come out of my mouth.”

Jack Nicklaus was and still is one of the greatest of all time. Although he is not playing golf and not entertaining us that way, the funny yet witty answers make us laugh all the time.
