The sport of golf has been fairly consistent when its gameplay. The game was always played the same way, with all the pros using similar techniques. That is, until The Scientist, a.k.a. Bryson DeChambeau, entered the picture. The golfer took on playing the sport his own way, and in 2020, he proved his change right when he grabbed the US Open trophy. DeChambeau was “emotional” after his win and also extremely proud.

The LIV Golf defector won six times on the tour before jumping ship earlier this year. His major win blew away both the fans and his competitors. The golf great had bulked up his body and increased his strength for the match. He went on to grab the win with a magnificent tweak to the monotonous sport.
After grabbing a splendid win at the US Open, Bryson was filled with emotion after the match. He said, “This is a little emotional for me because I did something different.” He claimed that he had made a lot of changes to his techniques and mindset. He was proud of what he had accomplished.

The scientist said, “I was able to accomplish a win while playing a completely different style of golf. And it’s pretty amazing to see that.” He knew that in a game where everything had been played the same way for decades, he had brought about change with his single-length irons and a powerful drive.

Bryson DeChambeau wishes to inspire the younger generations with his way of golf
DeChambeau opened up about his “be the casino” mindset because the house always won at the casino. DeChambeau was immensely proud of his feat; he had started the final day 3 strokes behind Matthew Wolff, and within a blink of an eye he was blazing ahead, finishing 6 strokes in the lead.

He stated, “I think the most important thing is that I’ve shown people that there’s another way to do it.” DeChambeau not only went on to inspire the younger generations but also the pro golfers on the course that day. As they watched him fly past them with his hulking strength, they knew this was a technique they needed to add to their arsenal.
