Whether a normal person or an athlete, every individual has fear in their life. The same holds for golf professionals, and the factor or things that frighten them varies from player to player. Moreover, Paige Spiranac recently spoke about the same and revealed her biggest fear in the process.

The 29-year-old got emotional while talking about her biggest fear in the latest episode of her podcast, ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee’. She discussed the same with her co-host, Amanda Rose. Moreover, Spiranac firstly joked about her fear of squirrels and narrated a story. But later, she talked about how her biggest fear in life is letting her parents down. At the same, Paige also revealed how her parents sacrificed so much for her.

Not to forget, she is among the famous names in golf. The former professional turned into a social media sensation, and she majorly resorts to uploading golf instructional videos on her Youtube Channel. In the same Q&A episode of her podcast, she revealed how her parents had spent a lot of money on her, and she sometimes feels that she has disappointed her parents because they wanted her to be a professional athlete, but she could not reach that level.
Paige Spiranac talks about the fear of disappointing her parents
Spiranac said, “I think that my biggest fear is disappointing my parents, I know that that might be a little bit of a weird one. But my parents have sacrificed so much for me to be successful, to live out my dreams to be whoever I want to be. And so I want to make them proud, I want to be successful, I want to do everything I can to almost pay them back. And they always, I think wanted me to secretly be a professional athlete.”
She added, “I feel sometimes a lot of disappointment in myself that I didn’t get to that level because I feel like I’ve let them down. But I think that’s why I’m so motivated to continue to be successful in what I do with my job because I want to really show them that, you know, it wasn’t for nothing.”
Moreover, Paige’s words prove the amount of love and respect she has for her parents. At the same time, it also shows how much Spiranac values all the sacrifices her parents have done for the golf sensation. It is truly incredible to hear it from her own mouth.

Did Spiranac win as a professional golfer?
The 29-year-old was among the rising stars in golf. Paige won her first professional event in June 2016 on the Cactus Tour. She won the Orange Tree Golf Resort event after carding a final round of 68. Moreover, Spiranac defeated Hannah O’Sullivan, the number one-ranked amateur in 2016.
However, after that, things started to go downhill. She could not make it through the qualifying school. As a result, the former professional couldn’t secure her LPGA Tour card. Due to other reasons adding up, she finally announced her retirement from golf in December 2016.
