Tiger Woods couldn’t make the cut in the 150th Open Championship. After the event, he revealed that it could be his last time playing the major at the home of golf. However, the Northern Irish golfer and the former tournament champion, Rory McIlroy, doesn’t reciprocate the same thought.

“I just hope…” the Irishman said in the press meet after Woods failed to advance to the final rounds. “Everyone hopes it’s not the end of his Old Course career.” He added, “I think he deserves… we deserve him to have another crack at it.” Furthermore, McIlroy hoped that the home of golf would host another Open in the next 5 to 6 years so that Woods would be able to showcase his best golf then.
