The golf pro was surprised that there were those out there who were mad at McIlroy. “I cant believe people are upset that Rory didnt say hello back,” he stated, exclaiming his disapproval.
Many of his fans agreed with him. They lashed out at Reed, stating it was absurd to expect a greeting after his actions.
I can’t believe “subpoena” reed expected him to give him one second of his time.

Those are Trump loving, MAGA loving, LIV supporters. They hate McIlroy because he’s not on their team.

Golf is supposed to be a gentleman’s game. Tradition, remember Rory? It’s not like he wanted a hug.

I can’t believe how butt hurt @McIlroyRory is about LIV. If he doesn’t like players going to other tours why did he leave the euro tour? What’s the difference? Ohh did he want to make more money?

Both golf pros are currently competing in Dubai on the DP World Tour. On the course, Reed approached the world No. 1 to greet him. But, McIlroy had no interest in talking to the nine-time PGA Tour winner. He claimed that the LIV golfer had subpoenaed him on Christmas Eve last year and that he was still upset about the timing of everything.
Reed, on the other hand, was infuriated at being ignored and threw a LIV Golf tee in the direction of Rory. Therein began the feud between the two, which soon turned into a mess. The one-time major champion later accused the PGA Tour regular of being “immature” and acting like a “little child”, as per Golf Monthly. And so the war goes on.
