The 36-year-old cancer warrior Joel Dahmen’s game of golf was recently featured in the Netflix golf docu-series, “Full Swing” with his caddie, Geno Bonnalie. His recent feat in the famous Netflix gig has made him a topic of interest in the larger golf world. Dahmen’s former roommate from his days at the University of Washington, Nick Taylor was recently featured in the famous GOLF’s Subpar podcast. Therein, the 3x PGA Tour winner made some big revelations about Joel Dahmen. He elaborated on their time together.
Taylor was asked how Joel Dahmen was as a roommate. To this, Nick Taylor replied, “He was a great roommate. He loves to have fun, and obviously has a drink here and there. Joe’s still got a heart of gold. He’s self-deprecating, but he wants to win as much as anybody. He’s so self-deprecating. It’s hilarious… That’s just kind of his front. But now I have lived with Joel for two years. Our second and third year at school. But yeah, he was a great guy.”
It is truly interesting to know that Dahmen is such a fun-loving person. Joel Dahmen is truly a living inspiration to many of us. He demonstrated his strength during his fight against cancer. Dahmen struggled with testicular cancer soon after earning his PGA Tour card.
