The Saudi-backed league, LIV Golf, has already taken over the golf community with its charm since last year. And whenever they have a tournament coming up, they exert every possible effort to advertise it. Last time during the $25 million event in LIV Golf London, they even got a black van with an LED showing the faces of LIV players like Phil Mickelson cruising down the streets of Buckingham Palace Lane.
Now that their August event festivities are upon them, they have tried another marketing trick, which quite surprised the golf community again.

After the completion of the 2023 LIV Golf London and having Cameron Smith thrive on the leaderboard, their new venture takes the league to Greenbrier. The LIV Golf Greenbrier is the 10th installment in their schedule this season, and the hype is already immense. Now, one of the renowned names who would be seen playing is Torque GC captain Joaquin Niemann.
Recently, a post was shared by TorqueGC with Niemann’s picture on social media. And the post said, “Oh my God, okay it’s happening, everybody stay calm,” a very popular dialogue from the television series ‘The Office’, where the character Michael Scott, played by the actor Steve Carell, can be seen saying these lines.

Perhaps the post is intended to have a connection with their upcoming event at the Greenbrier because in the caption it has also been mentioned, “We just realized there is only one week left for a new tournament…STAY CALM!”
LIV Golf always cooks up new policies to hook the audience for their upcoming golf endeavors, and this time, the hype is real!
Key points to know about the 2023 LIV Golf Greenbrier

This is the 10th of their 14 events scheduled this year for the LIV Golf League. The event will tee off on the first week of August, ergo, the 4th of August, and continue until the 6th. And for its venue, it has chosen the Old White Course at the Greenbrier, which is a 54-hole course.

In addition to this, the field will comprise 48 players, for a total of 12 teams of four players each. And as far as the purse of the tournament is concerned, it remains the same as the London event, which is $25 million. Of which a hefty winner’s payout of $4 million is for the one who is victorious and $3 million is for the winning team. The game will be broadcast on CW Network, LIV Golf Plus, and LIV Golf Youtube.
