In the featured video, Pettersen discusses an extraordinary tournament that left a lasting impact. Well, she was referring to the Miracle of Medinah, a historic Ryder Cup competition where Maria Olazabal’s exceptional performance captivated audiences. At that time, she was on a journey to play golf in Asia. Unexpectedly, she encountered a sudden loss of reception on her screen during takeoff, leading her to seek assistance from the airplane captain to ask for the result she was eagerly awaiting. She inquired, “Can I please (know) Did he make it.”
Furthermore, the 42-year-old golfer confidently expressed her belief in Olazabal’s imminent victory. As she watched the tournament recap, she was moved to witness Olazabal humbly kneeling as a tribute to the legendary Seve Ballesteros, renowned for his impressive tally of 90 professional wins.
