The 29-year-old former LPGA golfer, Paige Spiranac is a well-known internet sensation. With over 3.2 million followers on Instagram, Spiranac is often seen posting informative and entertaining videos of her playing golf for her fans. She also has her own YouTube channel where she posts vlogs, as well as other videos.

Other than her social media profiles and YouTube channel, she also hosts a podcast by the name ‘Playing A Round with Paige Renee’. The show often revolves around fan questions related to Paige Spiranac’s golf career as well as her personal life.

In a recent episode of the podcast, a fellow fan asked the former golfer about the hardest golf course she had ever played on. Spiranac replied by mentioning the golf course in Texas named RAM Rock and announced that it was the vigorous course she had ever played on. She mentioned it was while she was playing AJGA.

She said, “So back in the day when I was playing AJGA, which is a Junior Golf Association, we played a course called RAM rock in Texas. And it was the toughest course I’ve ever played,” Spiranac also added, “They said it was the first time in AJG history that’s been going on for a very long time that no one in the field shot par or better. So it was so difficult. It was a beautiful golf course. But really hard.”

Paige Spiranac details the obstacle that made the course ‘miserable’

The internet sensation mentioned the high-speed winds on the course that went from 25 to 40 miles per hour and said that playing well there was impossible. It was hard enough to make her feel ‘miserable’ about it.

Spiranac further stated, “The pins were hard, it was blowing like 25-mile gusts up to 40. It was almost impossible. That was the hardest course I’ve ever played on. It was miserable.”

Spiranac and her new career

Spiranac quit her golfing career because she struggled as a professional. She admitted to being emotionally weak and no matter how hard she practiced, she could never win a major. She once mentioned how much she wished to win a major in her golfing career, and that she had worked hard for it since her junior golfing days.

But life had other plans and she later went into a completely different field altogether and became an expert in what she does. Although she might could not achieve her childhood dream, she is currently doing something that makes her happy and satisfied.
