As the headlines last year were bombarded with the news of LIV Golf VS PGA Tour, the golf world will finally witness what unfolded behind the scenes in the upcoming Netflix documentary. With excitement rising to see the birth of hatred among rival Tour players, the producer of the docu-series reveals which event ignited the heat among the defectors and PGA Tour loyalists.
Yesterday, Netflix dropped the two-minute trailer of ‘Full Swing’, only stirring more excitement among fans. As the release date, 15th February approaches, the docu-series is only getting wider attention, thanks to its producer.

The producer had the closest eye during the initiation of the Tour war. Chadd Mumm discussed when star players from the American Tour were making their way for the Saudi-funded Tour. The producer then added how even the journalists began checking their phones constantly as tensions had risen in the media room. “The day later, the Alan Shipnuck quote from Phil came out, and it kind of blew it up”, revealed Chadd Munn. According to him, the silence in the locker room only got louder in the coming weeks.
The decision to leave the PGA Tour to join their rivals did ruin many longstanding friendships. However, Munn reveals how everything just vaporized overnight due to the arrival of LIV Golf. He adds that although there was no fistfight or arguments in the locker room, the different choices of Tours resulted in a cold war among golfers.

As more and more details from the highly anticipated docu-series slowly emerge, the excitement among golf fans only grows further.
