The 36-year-old golfer entered the final round of the tournament with an eye-catching lead, but was met with staggering obstacles initially.

However, soon, he overcame those and clinched the $3 million title and the illustrious Claret Jug. It was in a recent tweet by Flushing It that the golf world became aware of the reason behind the constant waggle. Harman in the video, is seen answering the question by @PardonMyTake about the “really annoying” waggle. Harman’s response came out to be rather unexpected!

He commenced by laughing and calling the habit to be “awful”, adding “it is not great.” While apologizing to everybody who witnessed his game, he revealed the reason behind the beginning of this uncontrollable custom. Recalling the time he first got on the Tour, he mentioned being “one of the fastest guys on tour” all throughout junior golf, amateur golf, and college golf.

However, Harman confessed how his speed affected his game having to wait around. This was the point when he reached out to Lucas Glover, a close friend of the golf star. He suggested that the PGA Tour pro should take control of his game and slow down a little while he can. And Harman did exactly that, saying, “I made a conscious effort to slow down.”

Further, the Georgian golfer was seen pondering upon how the waggle became a habit to maintain consistency even while slowing down. He reiterated how he was aware of his gameplay being steady, and how it seemed rather annoying to the viewers. But quickly adding ahead, he mentioned that he started to play really well since he gained control of his speed.

While the interviewer appreciated Harman’s honesty about being slow, fans as well could not help but divulge commenting on the habit.
