Charles Barkley makes a pass at the LIV Golf offer
Barkley was last seen on the course at Trump National Golf Club at Bedminster on Thursday. He was rumored to join the LIV Golf Series as a broadcaster after dining with LIV Golf Chief Greg Norman. But he recently made things clear about his final decision regarding his career in the field.
Barkley mentioned Norman in his statements and said, “I want to thank Greg Norman and LIV for their interest in me.” He added, “I wish those guys great success and nothing but the best. Turner and basketball have given me every single thing in my life—it is best for me to move on and I’m staying with Turner for the rest of my TV career.”
Barkley was very excited to meet Norman to discuss working with LIV Golf. He was very well aware that it could cost him his position at Turner and all the love from his fans. Barkley also made a statement earlier about the high amounts of money being paid to the players. He said that for $200 he could “kill a relative”.
