During the press conference, he said, “This is HOKA trail shoes. I have a problem with had I foot, and I cannot really play with anything else that hurts.” Any shoes other than HOKA don’t allow him to play golf painlessly. Also, he did not want to leave spike marks on the green.

The discussion went further, and Singh explained that his shoes were running/hiking shoes with better grips. There was no slippage, and they fitted better than golf shoes. He said, “No slippage, and it feels good. It hurts but it feels better than if I wore golf shoes.”
