The 2022 Masters Tournament is just around the corner. It is the first major championship event of the 2022 season and probably the most anticipated one. The event begins on the 7th of April. Moreover, with each passing day, the speculations regarding Tiger Woods featuring in the 2022 Masters are getting intense. But will Tiger play at the 2022 Masters?

Is Tiger Woods going to be a part of the 2022 Masters?
Eldrick Woods is still part of the list of the past champions playing at the 2022 Masters. But he has not confirmed his status about playing at the major championship. Moreover, Augusta National can only remove a professional’s name from the list if the professional communicates it to the Club.

On March 27th, a few sources confirmed that Tiger was seen walking at the Medalist Club along with his caddie Joe LaCava. This means he is trying every possible way to make a presence at Augusta. Moreover, yesterday was the day for breakthroughs in Tiger playing at the Augusta scenario.
Tiger was seen flying through his private jet to Augusta on March 29th and even planned to scout the golf course to decide about playing at the event. The scouting was done to evaluate his body for the event.

However, still Tiger has not spoken about his participation at the Masters, but with this series of positive events, we might see him back at Agusta given the memories he shares at the event.

When did Tiger win his first Masters title?
Woods won his first Masters title in 1997. He won his maiden green jacket with an overall score of 18-under-par. As a result, he won the event with a whopping 12 stroke lead. Tigers’ win at Augusta by 12 strokes in 1997 remains to be the highest margin of victory at Augusta.

He won the event only one year after turning professional in the year 1996. Woods carded a final round of three-under-par, 69 on his route to victory on Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club.
