The PNC Championship will start on December 14 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Course and conclude on December 17. The first two days, that is, December 14 and December 15, will be the Pro-Ams, and then the official competition will begin on Saturday. The championship is a 36-hole event, unlike the traditional PGA Tour’s 72-hole event. The field size for the tournament is limited, as only 20 teams, consisting of golfers and their non-professional family members, will compete. In total, there will be 40 players on the course.

The 20 teams of two will play the scramble rounds. This means that both the members of the team will tee it off, and then they will choose the better shot to continue their game. The team will then again hit the next shot from that spot and will again choose the better one from the two. This scrambled game will be continued until the ball is holed. The team with the lowest score will win the competition.

Since the field is smaller and the event is an unofficial tourney of the PGA Tour, the PNC Championship does not observe any cut, so the players are at no risk of missing any action. For the entire weekend, there will be an exciting showcase of skills from golfers and their families without any barriers or pressure from the probability of missed cuts.
