In a recent update, the author posted another take on his X handle. The writer has tweeted about the game structure in TGL. He said that the format looks familiar, referring to TGL’s rival LIV Golf’s playing format. 

Shipnuck’s tweet reads: “A team-based breakaway league using an unorthodox format to court new and younger fans? Feel like I’ve heard this before.”
