And ahead of this week’s LPGA event, she stunned the fans with her display of these exceptional skills.

Since turning pro in 2012, the Swede has left the fans’ jaws dropping on more than one occasion with her golf skills. But of late, her years on the course have taken their toll on her game, and her performances, though stunning, have not been too fruitful in the sport. Yet, despite that, Holmqvist continues to drive the golf world crazy. Not on the course, but from the skies!

This week, ahead of the Lotte Championship, Holmqvist took to the skies in a helicopter. Yes, you read that right—the 33-year-old can not only hit bombs but also fly choppers! The golf pro is currently training to get her pilot’s license, and while doing so, she was also loving the view of Hawaii this week, as per the LPGA Tour’s recent Instagram post.

Since an injury sidelined her from the game in 2018, the LPGA pro has begun dipping her toes into different hobbies. Flying helicopters turned out to be one of them! “I think helicopters are cool,” she said in May last year, as per an LPGA report. “I was thinking of trying a plane but… The freedom with the helicopter was appealing.” And it seems like fans love seeing her take part in her hobby too.

Golf fans react to the LPGA star’s piloting skills

The video of Holmqvist skillfully flying the helicopter drove the golf fans wild. Seeing their favorite golf star have a club replaced with a bicycle stick had left them in awe. “Nice,” wrote one fan, while another said, “Excellent! How impressive.” One fan even called her a “bada**” for her insane aerial skills.

She had earned the respect of the golf world. But among the “Skillz. Is she good at everything???” praises that she received, fans also recognized how scary it was, and a few even suggested that they could never have done it. “So scary no thank you! I’m going to stay on the ground where the golf courses are,” wrote one fan, showering her with respect for her bold hobby.
