The return of Tiger Woods to the golf course is the biggest news this weekend. The GOAT is set to play alongside his one and only junior player Charlie Woods, in what is guaranteed to be an exciting event. The 2024 PNC Championship will see the father-son duo face great challenges against many legends of the game.

While everyone is excited to watch the Woods family in action, one major question still remains unanswered. Who will be Tiger Woods’s caddie for the tournament? Throughout the year, the 82x PGA Tour winner has had Lance Bennett beside him in various events.

While Woods may have not found any success this year, he still has had Lance around for longer than first anticipated. When the veteran caddie was initially brought on at The 2024 Genesis Invitational, it was supposed to be a temporary hiring. But Woods and him have been together for all major participations of the former.

However, when it comes to the PNC Championship particularly, the situation might be a little different. Last year, the tournament saw Tiger Woods’s daughter Sam, caddie for him on the course. In fact, the 5x Masters Tournament winner also stated, “It couldn’t have been any more special for all of us.”

A recent video shared by GolfDigest on their X account showed Tiger Woods & Charlie Woods sharing a caddie during their practice. The caption read “Team Woods has arrived at the PNC Championship. 🐅” as Charlie Woods putt a ball from close range with the caddie lifting it up. There were no signs of Sam Woods on the course.

However, just around an hour after this news broke, Justin Leonard’s son Luke Leonard had an interview with the Golf Channel which was shared on the new outlet’s X handle. In the video, Luke confirmed that he and his father would be teeing off with Team Woods with Sam Woods accompanying them as well. So fans will be seeing Sam Woods caddying for Tiger Woods for the second year in a row at the 2024 PNC Championship.

Now that he knows that Tiger Woods will be accompanied by both his children on course, let’s take a look at what his daughter Sam Woods has been up to recently.

Their brief outing at the 2024 PNC Championship may have pleased many in the golf community. But Sam Woods has been busy playing other sports in her time. Despite having Tiger Woods as her father, young Sam has shown more interest in soccer. In fact, both Sam & Charlie Woods played a lot of soccer before the latter finally chose to pursue golf. One thing that is still common between the siblings is that they still study in the same school. Hence, like her younger brother, Sam Woods also represents the Benjamin Buccaneers team. The only difference here is, she plays for the Varsity Girls’ Soccer team of Benjamin High School.

But that’s not the only athletic venture of the 17-year-old. Not that long ago, Sam Woods also took up track and field as another sport. She has been representing her school in both sports for more than a year now.
