Rose Zhang, although only 20, has made quite a name for herself in women’s golf! Not only did she rule amateur golf, but she is quickly rising to fame in her professional career as well. She even won her debut event at the Mizuho Americas Open, etching her name alongside Beverly Hanson, who had done so back in 1951!
After her debut, she has made quite a few appearances in regular LPGA tournaments and major events such as the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and the Women’s US Open. With the fourth major of the season approaching, will golf fans see Zhang teeing it up in France at the end of July?
Well, to put it simply, yes! When Rose Zhang turned pro, she made the exemption list to compete in the remaining four major tournaments of the 2023 LPGA Tour season. The LPGA Tour also announced the previous month on their Twitter handle that fans will get to witness a lot more of the 20-year-old in the coming season!
