Rickie Fowler currently stands at number 12 in the FedEx Cup rankings list. His projected rank as per the leaderboard is 11. He currently has about 1752 points and the estimates suggest he will collect 372 more from the ongoing BMW Championship. Considering the points he has accumulated already, it’s almost certain that Fowler will finish the tournament in the top 30. He would have to fall over 20 positions behind in order to not be eligible for the next playoff, and that seems unlikely.

Although the odds are in his favor, how he finishes this tournament is still important. Fowler will have to avoid making any blunders and hold on to the momentum he has generated so far.

Moving on to his performance in the BMW Championship, Fowler finished round 2 with 69 points. He had scored 66 points in the first round. Collectively, he has a score of 5-under from the first two rounds. As for his standing, he currently holds the fifth position, sharing it with four others.
