Has Rickie Fowler broken through the top 50 ranks in the FedEx Cup leaderboard? The man from Murrieta played quite a few events in 2024, ending up with 23 official tournaments. He was also a part of the field for the unofficial PGA Tour event, the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational.

Fowler was partnered with retiring LPGA Tour star Lexi Thompson. The pair finished T14 in a field of 16 teams at the Tiburón Golf Club & The Ritz-Carlton in Naples as Fowler broke a years-old tradition during the event. His last appearance of the year was not much different from the rest of the events he played.

Rickie Fowler made 17 cuts in 2024, 5 of them in the top 25. He only had 1 top-10 finish this season at the Zozo Championship back in October. Overall, Fowler has struggled throughout the year and failed to make major moves that would help him gain vital points on the FedEx Cup leaderboard.

Hence, fans wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Rickie Fowler finished at the 108th rank on the leaderboard in 2024. That means he can’t qualify for The Sentry based on season rankings. However, there is one other way he could have made it in.

As per the qualification requirements of the tournament, had the 6x PGA Tour champion won a single event in 2024, he would have confirmed his place in the season-opening event. Unfortunately, Fowler didn’t manage a single win this year and will not be featured in The Sentry 2025. Hence, he is not qualified for The Sentry scheduled from January 2 to 5, 2025. The same can be confirmed on the 2025 Signature Events & Majors Qualifiers page of the official PGA Tour website.

However, there are a few other tournaments that will definitely feature Rickie Fowler in 2025 if he is healthy and fine. Let’s take a look at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic champion’s possible schedule for the upcoming season of the PGA Tour.

He will be a part of the New York Golf Club alongside Xander Schauffele, Matt Fitzpatrick, & Cameron Young and will be in action in the first match of the inaugural season of the event. They will be facing The Bay Golf Club.
