Love truly is all about luck. The story of the PGA Tour golfer Patton Kizzire is pretty much the same. From strangers to friends, to lovers, and now to the biggest support system of each other’s lives. Kizzire acquired his love for the game of golf when he graduated from college and started dreaming about playing on the PGA Tour. Before that, he played golf for his college team, and well, you can say that his wife was very close and yet unknown.

To fulfill the dreams, he moved one step at a time. From becoming a pro in 2008 to being a part of the Korn Ferry Tour in 2015, and finally in the PGA Tour. While his father has always been a constant support pillar in his life, he had a life partner who never left his side!

Hudson Swafford played Cupid in Patton Kizzire’s love story

As reported by the Tuscaloosa News, Patton Kizzire is married to Kari Elizabeth Hodgon. Although they went to the same school, the two never met, until PGA Tour player Hudson Swafford introduced them back in 2015, when Kizzire had just started climbing up the success ladder of golf. She is the daughter of Matthew and Teresa Hodgon, hailing from St. Simon’s Island.

Hodgon graduated from the Glynn Academy back in 2006, and from the University of Georgia in 2010. She has a bachelor’s degree in education, exercise, and sports sciences. She also completed a Physical Therapy degree and received a Doctorate from Armstrong State University. They married in October 2015, and also have two kids together. Their son Palmer Kizzire turned 4 this year.

Patton Kizzire shares the same amount of love that he has for golf as much as he does for his family. Even his Instagram profile is filled with either pictures of him golfing, or his wife and children. “Blessed with my family” is written on his bio. His wife has been on the bleachers for almost every tournament that he has played in, being his biggest cheerleader.

Kari Elizabeth practiced putting with her husband back in 2018 at the Masters in Augusta National. Ahead of the original Masters event, she dressed up as a caddie for her husband and took turns putting with him on the course. This happened on April 4, 2018.

While Elizabeth attempted to putt, Kizzire watched her admirably doing so. They even posted a picture from the course on their Instagram account. The two have a lot of things in common. Both of them have a shared love for French Bulldogs. Although it is Elizabeth, who is often seen posting pictures of them on her official X account.
