Is Patrick Reed qualified to play in the Masters Tournament 2025? The 4Aces GC player hasn’t had the best start to the 2025 season. His efforts in LIV Golf have seen him finish at T10 once in Hong Kong, which was his best performance of the season. Otherwise, he has ranked at T25 or above. Other than that, he also has a T3 finish in the International Series Macau most recently. Overall, Reed has not been in the best of form and has failed to leave an impression on the fans.

So how did the Texan manage to secure a spot at the Augusta National from April 10-13, 2025? For anyone who doesn’t recollect, Patrick Reed has had quite an illustrious career in the PGA Tour before he jumped ship. Prior to 2022, Reed had 9 wins to his name in an 11-year career on the PGA Tour. This included World Golf Championships in 2014 and 2020. But most importantly, his biggest career achievement was probably the Masters Tournament he won in 2018.

Yes, Patrick Reed has won at Augusta National before. This was the only major event he had won in his career. According to the qualification requirements, anyone who has won a Green Jacket in the past receives a lifetime exemption to participate in the Masters Tournament. That is how the 34-year-old booked his ticket to Augusta National for the 2025 edition of the prestigious major event.

The last two on the list are Joaquin Niemann and Tyrrell Hatton. Both of them have performed exceptionally well outside LIV Golf. Niemann won the Saudi International in late 2024 and finished third in the International Series India that aided his qualification for the major. Hatton began 2025 with a win in the Dubai Desert Classic. That helped him jump up the OWGR leaderboard and book a ticket to the Masters Tournament.
