Love is in the air. Well, at least it is for Nicolai Hojgaard! If any of you have in these past few months wondered if the young dashing Danish star is single, we have an answer for you. And it’s a big no. Besides being one of the DP World Tour’s youngest talents, the golfer is also a devoted boyfriend. And it shows very often on the greens.  His constant support system through thick and thin is his girlfriend, Amanda Falkenberg! Neither of the two have disclosed how long they’ve actually been together, however seeing them beaming together on the course, it’s clear that they’ve had a good few years.

Falkenberg and Hojgaard are spotted together on the green now and then, but it was the 2021 Italian Open that highlighted their relationship. When he won the Italian Open in 2021, his Falkenberg was right by his side, shining brighter than any trophy. She was with Hojgaard’s twin brother Rasmus and his girlfriend cheering Nicolai on at the winner’s ceremony that year.

“I’m very happy that Rasmus, his girlfriend, and my girlfriend were around watching,” Nicolai Højgaard had said after his win. And boom, thereafter the pair have been in the spotlight!

Since then, Falkenberg attended several golf events supporting Nicolai Hojgaard on the greens, including the Genesis Scottish Open and Made in Himmerland events in 2023. And despite them choosing to keep a lot of their relationship private, she accompanied him to Rome when Luke Donald selected the Danish pro as one of his wildcard picks to represent the Europe Ryder Cup team for 2023.

Their choice to stay out of the limelight, however, was evident at the Ryder Cup Gala too, when the pair didn’t take a single solo picture together for the public. However, they still showed their team spirit and joined in on a group picture with the European team.

All we know about Amanda Falkenberg

With both Hojgaard and Falkenberg staying hush-hush about their relationship, there’s not a lot known about Amanda. One thing, however, is quite clear that she is all about privacy. Her Instagram account, “amandafalkenberg15″ has recently been changed to private too. She has only 896 followers and follows only 718. Her Instagram caption too includes just one word, “Aarhus,“ which is a well-known city in Denmark. Now whether she’s from there or not is still unknown, but it’s clear that she shares a strong connection with the place.

Interestingly, none of Hojgaard’s 156 posts are with Amanda either. She, on the other hand, perhaps has a few of them together on her private profile, after all, before she turned it to private, she had even posted on his birthday in 2023. “Congratulations to my very best friend (who fortunately is also my boyfriend)” Amanda had written, wishing Nicolai when he turned 23. Undoubtedly, there been a few more moments to celebrate since, but we’ll only know more if either choose to reveal it. Regardless, the golf world is rooting for these two youngsters!
