The Solheim Cup loss had broken many hearts, especially of the players since Europe did not win the cup but retained it by tying the event. Both sides gave their level best, but Europeans left the event happier of the two. Under pressure, Nelly Korda found herself striving to push her team and her game.
However, her attempts were unfruitful and the Americans failed to stop the Europeans from retaining the hallowed Cup. Since then, Korda, unlike her teammates, had been out of action.
The 1X major champion had missed the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, The Ascendant LPGA Benefiting Volunteers of America, and the recent Buick LPGA Shanghai events. Her time off had properly nourished her as she now will be making a comeback at the BMW Ladies Championship at the Seowon Valley Country Club, Republic of Korea.
The revealed field of players for the BMW Championship has displayed the world No.4 on their list, alongside her Solheim Cup compatriots, Rose Zhang, Lilia Vu, and Megan Khang, and defending champion Lydia Ko.
