Is Alison Lee married? The answer, NO. The LPGA star, however, is engaged. Lee has confirmed her engagement in an Instagram story on November 3, but she hasn’t revealed the name of her fiancé. There’s not much information available on the person.
Grapevine has it that Tyler Ekenberg is Lee’s boyfriend. At least some fans think that, after frequently seeing them together. But the female golfer with two professional career wins yet is tight-lipped on the subject. She has kept her personal life guarded.

Lee is very active on social media. But she has never posted anything about her boyfriend-turned-to-be. Her Instagram story that confirmed her engagement had pictures of the event in the presence of her friends. Notably, she got engaged after taking Minjee Lee to a playoff at the BMW Ladies Championship.
Lee is a Korean-American who was born and raised in California. She started playing golf at six years of age and soon became a star at the junior level. She achieved All-American honors in the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) for six consecutive years from 2008 to 2013.
Right from the start, Lee has had an impressive swing. And according to reports, it is down to her father Johnny Lee, her first golf instructor. Lee turned professional in 2014 and has a current world ranking of 57.

Progress-wise, circa 2023 has been pretty good for the 28-year-old. She played a 5-under 67 at the BMW Ladies Championship last month and put herself in a playoff for the second time in her LPGA career. Eventually, she lost to Minjee Lee.

And Lee looks to be in roaring form at the ongoing CME Group Tour Championship 2023. After three rounds, she has topped the leaderboard, on the heels of an eight-under 64 in the second round on Friday, November 17. “You need to go out there and believe you’re the sh*t and you can do it,” this was Couples’ message to Lee, as posted by LPGA’s X handle. The latter in turn got emotional, as she spoke to the media.
Driven by a ‘fan’
“So about a couple of months ago now, I played golf with Freddie Couples in a Pro-Am. And it was my first time meeting him. We have been texting back and forth for the last couple of months,” Lee told reporters.

She added, “And he every single day, just ‘You’re so good at golf. Like, you need to believe it He’s (Couples) honestly been like my biggest supporter and my number one fan over the last couple of months.” It is heartening to see Freddie support the new generation. We’re sure Lee’s to-be-husband will also be as supportive of her.
