As per reports, Esther Henseleit and Reece Phillips have been dating for a few years now. The first started going out back in 2021 and has since been inseparable. It’s not only their off-course dynamic that has helped their relationship flourish. On the course, Phillips plays a bigger role in Henseleit’s career than many might be aware of.

Phillips is an experienced swing coach who has been in the field since 2017. At first, he pursued a career as a professional golfer in 2014. However, the Englishman was intrigued by the complexities of the sport and wanted to share his expertise with other players. That’s when he started pursuing a coaching career. Apart from being a great swing coach, Phillips also likes to caddie professionally. He was the bagman for DP World Tour player Oliver Fisher for a brief period. The two have since split apart.

One major reason why Fisher and Phillips don’t work together is that the latter has shifted his focus to Henseleit. Outside the course, the two might be dating, but on the fairway, they share a professional relationship that is targeted towards helping the LPGA Tour pro achieve success. Phillips caddies for Henseleit and also looks after her swings as a coach. There is no one better the 26-year-old star could have to guide her during her professional journey.

Henseleit and Phillips have teamed up on the course since the Spring of 2021. While the German is yet to win an LPGA Tour title, she does have one Ladies European Tour win to her name. As an amateur, Henseleit won the Magical Kenya Ladies Open in 2019. She repeated the feat, teaming up with Phillips in 2021 when she won the tournament for the second time in her career. Even in the LPGA Tour, the 26-year-old has had an impeccable season in 2024.

She nearly managed to capture the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, finishing second to Lauren Coughlin. The German and her English caddie also had 7th-place finishes at The Amundi Evian Championship and The Chevron Championship in 2024. This year, the two have come closer to victory again with a 3rd place tie in the 2025 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro.

Spending so much time together, you would think that they would have already tied the knot. But that’s not the case, as Phillips and Henseleit have still not exchanged vows. However, they do plan to do so in the near future. The couple have been engaged since their Paris Olympic triumph. However, The New York Times confirmed that they are planning to get married at the end of Summer 2025. Phillips and Henseleit also revealed that they might either go to Paris or somewhere close to a beach for their honeymoon.
