“It’s tough to put into words,” said an ecstatic Denny McCarthy back in 2023. He was alluding to two instances: getting married to the love of his life and receiving his first invitation to the Masters. Although he did fail to leave a mark at the major championship, the same doesn’t seem to be the case in his marriage to Samantha Marzke (now McCarthy), who has done nothing but support the male athlete.

The two tied the knot back on December 15, 2023, almost 7 months after they got engaged to each other. While the athlete spent his time focusing on his gameplay, the golfer’s wife, meanwhile, had her own career as a realtor. Well, it truly does make one curious as to the relationship that the two share between themselves.

The golfer’s wife was born on March 5, 1995, in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Growing up, she attended Lake Michigan Catholic (now known as Our Lady of the Lake Catholic High School), following which she graduated in 2013. She would then spend her college life at Western Michigan University until 2017, the year when she would graduate from the same.

The Delta Zeta Sorority member, after graduating college, moved to Florida so that she could be close to her boyfriend and future husband, Denny McCarthy. Although it isn’t exactly clear when the two started dating each other, the duo did decide to get married and got engaged on May 15, 2023. The two then held the auspicious ceremony and tied the knot in Palm Beach, Florida.

“2023 has been a great year,” wrote McCarthy on his Instagram page, “It’s tough to put into words how amazing the last week has been to close it out… Doesn’t get much better. See you in 2024!” The 31-year-old seems to be undeniably happy living his life as a golfer on the PGA Tour and as a husband to a wife who supports him.

The athlete’s partner is currently working as a realtor for Illustrated Properties. She has been doing so for almost five years, since October 2019. However, her career started back in 2013, around her senior year of high school, when Samantha McCarthy (then Marzke) joined Point O Woods Golf and Country Club as a tennis instructor and office secretary.

Her job at the club lasted 3 years and 5 months, following which she joined The Zecca Group and Illustrated Properties as a Waterfront and Seaside Home Specialist in October 2018. But just a year later, she also started working as a realtor for the latter and did so till January 2022 while working two jobs at the same time. Nevertheless, Denny McCarthy’s relationship with his wife seems to be doing well, as they slowly but surely reach the one-year mark on their marriage in December 2024.
