The LPGA Tour star was born on November 20, 1993, in Clamart, France. She was born to Christopher and Jacqueline Boutier, who are Thai. They moved from Thailand to Paris to raise Boutier, her twin sister Christie, and their young brother Kevin in suburban Paris.

Celine Boutier’s parents have been immensely supportive of her career. She went to Duke University in Durham and was part of the golf team for four years. Boutier also helped the Blue Devils win a national title back in 2014 and won a WGCA Player of the Year Award for herself.

She has a major in psychology and a minor in economics. Grabbing a market management certificate, she got into golf full-time. After a year of turning pro, the French golfer accepted her membership on the LPGA Tour. Boutier has also played in the Solheim Cup three times (2019, 2021, and 2023).

Even though Celine Boutier and Christie are twins, they are poles apart. Christie has no interest in sports and she runs her own business. On the other hand, her brother, Kevin, is a lot like her. His interest and passion for golf have led him to become a certified golf instructor in France. He also won three consecutive conference championships when he was back in college in Arkansas.

Kevin currently plays professionally on various mini-tours in Florida, along with teaching all aspects of the game to golfers of various ages and skills. Whenever necessary, he also comes forward to help his sister when she needs the course as well. He even caddied for her in 2017. The entire Boutier family is very tightly knitted and has been Boutier’s backbone!
