In 1996, the month was April when Greg Norman suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Nick Faldo who won the event. The wounds of Greg Norman were once again cut open when Nick Faldo posted a video on his Twitter handle on Sunday evening.
The video showed him wearing a T-shirt from the popular shark film called Jaws. In the backdrop of the video, his wife can be heard asking him when was the last time he went shark hunting to which he gave a sly answer.
The response of the Faldo series founder was: “April of 1996 was my last shark hunt.” The exchange did not end here, and the wife followed up by saying: “How did it go? “ His response was simple yet witty: “Did well. I did not need a bigger boat, if you know what I mean. My boat was big enough.”

This was a clear reference to his win in the 1996 Masters over Greg Norman. Greg Norman was called the shark and he shot 78 at the event while Faldo shot a 67 in the last round to beat The Shark. Overall, he won by five strokes. Quite big, you would admit!

However, it’s not the first time that Nick Faldo has shown his sense of humor on Twitter. Way back in 2017, Greg Norman made a nasty comment about how the commentary for the Masters was boring.
Nick Faldo at that time was a commentator with CBS and gave Greg Norman a shutting reply by tweeting: “I think I need a hug,” taking Greg Norman back to the time when he defeated him at the Masters of 1996.
