Golf is not only a sport where a player can hit a ball placed from the tee box and eventually put it in the hole. It is much more than that. There is rivalry, friendship, unbelievable records, and whatnot. However, sometimes, the sport gives its fans some unexpected things, which becomes a hot topic of discussion.
Many play golf as a recreational sport. They use it as a getaway and a way to celebrate their free time. And that would have a group of Florida-based golfers had planned when they went to the golf course on Thursday. But fate had other plans for them.

The golfers encountered an unexpected danger in the form of an airplane on the course. However, it didn’t stop the golf lovers from finishing their rounds successfully.
Golf games turned into extra exercise. But are fans okay with it?
On Thursday, a small jet was forced to make an emergency landing on the ninth hole at the Del Tura Golf & Country Club in North Fort Myers. While a golfer was on the 9th hole waiting to swing his clubs, he saw a loud plane coming in his direction. It landed on the green. Thankfully, the pilot was the only person on the plane and suffered no injuries. Although there was no smoke, the pilot said he had an issue with the engines, therefore, had to make an emergency landing.

The incident could have scarred them for life. But the golfers wanted to finish the hole, and the plane was disrupting that. Thus, the group pushed the aircraft off the green. It might be a surprise, as pushing a plane is challenging, but the golfers were determined.

He was not joking about the no-mulligan rule, either. A witness at the scene sent a message and another photo to Ryan French of The Fire Pit Collective, confirming that the golfers successfully pushed the jet off the putting green so that play could continue.

Here's a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway:
Do small planes have something similar to a car or train horn in case they have to warn people in an emergency like this?
Seems like that would have been appropriate in this case. Glad no one was decapitated.

The plane doesn’t have a handicapped flag. He’s for sure going to get a letter.
