Kevin McAlpine was a former professional golfer, who later turned caddie. He has caddied for Lexi Thompson, Amy Yang, and Martin Laird. Last year, Anna and Kevin tied the knot and celebrated the wedding with much grandeur.

However, exactly one year later, the couple filed for divorce. On 5th August, Anna announced that she was going through a divorce and thus she withdrew from the Scottish Open. Now two months later, Kevin’s father, Hamish McAlpine, told The Courier of his passing at the age of 39.

Anna, after hearing the news, rushed to the US and withdrew from the BMW Ladies Championship. She took to her Instagram and penned down a heartfelt note. “Life is too short to not live it to the full… Kevin was never driving at 30mph… so please make the best out of the time we get in this world!” Anna also shared that despite people reminding her of her strength, she’s “only human.”
