Bryson DeChambeau witnessed an unexpected injury to his hand

“I was freaking out,” said DeChambeau after getting injured at a hockey match. It was a day before DeChambeau won his fifth PGA Tour title. The golfer was invited to the Vegas Golden Knights NHL game and was given the honor to ring the siren right before the third period of the play.

DeChambeau did what he was supposed to do – rang the siren – but only to realize that he had a painful blister on his right hand. “I ripped part of my hand off, which is nice,” he stated. Apparently, the golfer rang the siren too strenuously, that he ended up with a blister on his hand. He also tried to treat it on his own, but it didn’t make much of a difference.

DeChambeau compared the PGA Tour to a pizza shop

In an interview with Fox News, DeChambeau gave an interesting analogy of a “pizza shop” to explain the PGA Tour ban on LIV Golf players. He said, “You have a pizza shop that’s been in existence for 50 years…All of a sudden, a new pizza shop opens up…And then, all of a sudden, that original pizza house goes, if you go over there, we’re banning you from ever coming back.”

DeChambeau was among the first players to say that he wished to play in PGA Tour events while being a part of the LIV Golf league. However, it doesn’t seem like Jay Monahan and Greg Norman are anywhere near the idea of a merger. Do you think LIV Golf and PGA Tour could ever work together? What are your views about it?
