As their videos begin to make the rounds on the internet, it seems that the golfers are having a great time in Saudi. A recent clip posted by Patrick Reed is a testament to the same.

In the video, 31-year-old Patrick can be seen holding a driver that is evidently longer than the usual ones. He hit the ball with the driver while the spectators cheered him on. After hitting the ball, even Reed seemed happy with the distance it traveled to.

He captioned the video, “I’m ready for the long drive contest now! been a fun few days ahead of @SaudiIntlGolf.” Patrick was one of the many golfers who went to the Saudi International event. Despite receiving heavy criticism for the same, Patrick and the remaining players stay ready and excited about the event.

Fans enjoyed that one from Patrick Reed!

As expected, fans were left in splits over Patrick’s video. 

Most of the fans cheered for Reed to make the long-distance shot with the enormous driver.

Even though they were joking, some of the fans compared the size of the golfer to the driver. Some even took a step ahead and said, “That driver makes you look skinny.”

Although Reed posted the video for fun, he was in between a practice session for the upcoming Saudi International. The event has been trending lately since many star pro golfers have confirmed their commitment, despite surrounding controversies.

Earlier, the PGA Tour had banned its players from playing at the event. However, the Tour later lifted its ban with certain conditions. Along with Patrick, star golfers including Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Xander Schauffele, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton, and Ian Poulter will attend the Saudi International.
