When the final round of the 2023 Masters kicked off, Brooks Koepka had a two-shot lead over the eventual winner, Jon Rahm. Many fans were confident that the golfer would lift his first-ever green jacket and fifth major trophy on Sunday.

However, 28-year-old Jon Rahm edged past the LIV golfer with a 3-under 69 to win by four shots. Regardless of the end result, Koepka’s return to form after his injury-related struggles have delighted many. Now, Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, has taken to her Instagram to reveal an interesting detail about her husband.

Koepka’s stunning form at Augusta this year surprised many, especially after the golfer grappled with his debilitating right knee injury. In fact, he missed the cut in the previous two editions of the Masters due to injury-related problems. However, the 32-year-old had one person by his side through it all – his wife and partner Jena Sims.

Despite her husband missing out on the $3.24 million payout at the Masters by finishing at T2, Sims appears to be in good spirits. The 34-year-old actress shared a fun meme to her Instagram story, disclosing a new side of Brooks Koepka to the world.

Sims shared this meme to her story, saying that her husband’s thing was saying, “I’m just resting my eyes during commercial breaks.”  Her wholesome new reveal shows that the golfer, like many others, loves to doze off even when something fun is playing on screen!

Recently, Sims appeared in an episode of The Scoop with Claire Rodgers, revealing fun details about her relationship and marriage to Koepka. In the episode, she talked about how the Masters was special to her as she had met the golfer for the first time at Augusta in 2015.

What does Brooks Koepka’s Masters performance mean for LIV Golf?

Koepka was not the only successful LIV golfer at the Masters this year. While Rahm may have prevented a LIV Golf victory this year, the Saudi-backed faction still pulled off amazing performances.

The three-time Masters champion and LIV golfer, Phil Mickelson, powered through the marathon Sunday at Augusta to tie at T2 with Koepka. Meanwhile, Patrick Reed, who ruffled many feathers with his defection to LIV Golf last year, had a strong outing and finish at T4 on the leaderboard. LIV’s performance at the first major tournament of the year brings back CEO Greg Norman’s words from October 2022, where he declared, “LIV is definitely here to stay.”
